Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar 2024

The Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar (PMRBP) is India's highest civilian honor for children, awarded annually by the Ministry of Women and Child Development. It recognizes exceptional achievements of children aged 5 to 18 in various categories, including Bravery, Art & Culture, Environment, Innovation, Science & Technology, Social Service, and Sports. 

In 2024, the awards were conferred by President Droupadi Murmu on January 22 at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi. A total of 19 children from 18 states and union territories were honored, comprising 9 boys and 10 girls. The awardees were selected for their outstanding contributions in their respective fields.

Aaditya Vijay Bramhane (posthumous) – Maharashtra

Art & Culture:

Anushka Pathak – Uttar Pradesh

Arijeet Banerjee – West Bengal

Armaan Ubhrani – Chhattisgarh

Hetvi Kantibhai Khimsuriya – Gujarat

Ishfaq Hamid – Jammu & Kashmir

Md Hussain – Bihar

Pendyala Laxmi Priya – Telangana

Innovation:

Suhani Chauhan – Delhi

Science & Technology:

Aryan Singh – Rajasthan

Social Service:


Avnish Tiwari – Madhya Pradesh

Garima – Haryana

Jyotsna Akhtar – Tripura

Saiyam Mazumder – Assam

Sports:

Aaditya Yadav – Uttar Pradesh

Charvi A – Karnataka

Jesicca Neyi Saring – Arunachal Pradesh

Linthoi Chanambam – Manipur

R Surya Prasad – Andhra Pradesh

Each awardee received a medal, a cash prize, and a certificate. Following the ceremony, on January 23, 2024, Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacted with the awardees, acknowledging their exceptional contributions. The children also participated in the Republic Day parade on January 26, 2024. 

The PMRBP serves to honor and encourage young talents across India, fostering a spirit of excellence and dedication among the nation's youth.
