CTET September Online Form 2026 – Apply Online for Paper I & II

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially released the CTET September 2026 Notification for candidates aspiring to become teachers for Classes I to VIII. Interested candidates can now submit the online application form through the official CTET website.

• Application Start Date: 11 May 2026
• Last Date to Apply: 10 June 2026
• Fee Payment Last Date: 10 June 2026
• Correction Window: 15 June to 18 June 2026
• CTET Exam Date: 06 September 2026
• Additional exam date may be conducted on 05 September 2026 if applications are high.

Eligibility Criteria

For Paper I (Primary Stage)

Candidates should have:

• Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and
• Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) OR equivalent qualification.

For Paper II (Elementary Stage)

Candidates should possess:

• Graduation degree with B.Ed / D.El.Ed / equivalent teacher training qualification.

Application Fee

Only Paper I or Paper II

• General / OBC / EWS: ₹1000
• SC / ST / PwD: ₹500

Both Papers

• General / OBC / EWS: ₹1200
• SC / ST / PwD: ₹600

Exam Pattern

Each paper consists of:

• 150 Multiple Choice Questions
• Total 150 Marks
• No Negative Marking
• Duration: 2 Hours 30 Minutes
